They may access useful information at night, on weekends, or during holidays when staff members are not working. There is another advantage. At service counters, staff can use AI translation to understand simple questions and provide answers more quickly. This can help more people complete procedures without long delays.

However, critics point out a serious concern. AI translation does not always understand context correctly, especially when official terms or complicated explanations are involved. A mistranslated sentence could cause a resident to misunderstand an application requirement, deadline, or public service rule. As a result, some people might face disadvantages because of incorrect information.
