Why do people choose these jobs? Workers can select shifts that fit their own plans. This makes it easier to work around school, family duties, or other activities. Also, they can gain experience in many different workplaces. By trying various jobs, they may learn new skills and discover what kind of work suits them.
Despite these benefits, short-term jobs also have some disadvantages. Workers may find it difficult to earn a stable income. The number of available shifts can change from week to week. Additionally, workers may not receive enough training. Because they stay for only a short time, employers may explain tasks too quickly or expect them to begin working immediately.
