However, dating apps also have some disadvantages. The information in a profile may not always be true. Some users may hide important facts or use misleading photographs. Another problem is that repeated rejection or unsuccessful communication can harm mental health. Users may lose confidence, feel anxious, or become tired of comparing themselves with many other people on the platform repeatedly over a long period of time on social media.
