This may help them save for education, travel, or future housing. In addition, family members can share housework. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and other daily tasks may become easier when several people help.
However, living with parents also has some problems. Young adults may have fewer chances to develop independence. They may continue depending on family members for decisions or daily responsibilities. Another problem is that privacy can be limited. Sharing rooms and common spaces may make it difficult to relax, invite friends, or follow personal routines without affecting other people in the household.
