READING
Many people take part in festivals in their local communities. These festivals often have food stands, music, games, and other activities for people of all ages.
Local festivals are good because people can meet and talk with others in their community. For example, they may see neighbors they do not usually have a chance to speak with.
However, there can be a problem. Festivals sometimes produce a lot of trash. After the event, many cups, food containers, and other things may be left behind on streets and in parks.
